In a major development regarding Odisha’s flagship women welfare scheme, Subhadra Yojana, the third instalment of financial assistance will be disbursed on April 22, announced Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Monday. The Odisha government has decided to conduct a comprehensive home-to-home survey, starting after April 14, to verify the eligibility of applicants and understand why nearly 1 lakh beneficiaries were excluded from receiving the second instalment.
